Dr David Cohen
David Cohen has 20 years experience in applied geochemical research based in Australia, Asia and North America. He is Head of the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences and is the President of the (Int'l) Association of Applied Geochemists. Current research projects include sampling and analytical methods for exploration and environmental geochemistry, biomass feed for coal-fired power plants, regional and urban environmental geochemical baseline surveys and data mining techniques. He has published over 50 papers and major technical reports in areas ranging from mineral exploration to statistics. He has been a technical consultant to a number of industrial companies and governments, including provision of professional training programs in various countries.
