David Jordan
David has over 25 years experience in the Australian and global business and academic environment in silicon semiconductor device research and development, intellectual property development and commercialization, global high volume and LEAN manufacturing, technology intellectual property management, project development / financial & technical assurance / execution management and global audit.
In his role with BP Solar he was responsible for managing the global link between diverse research groups and high volume silicon semiconductor manufacturing in various countries, identifying and prioritizing support for near and mid term global R&D, auditing global technology implementation and capacity expansion projects, managing vendor equipment specification and working toward greater vendor strategic alliances.
In his role as Chief Executive and Managing Director of BluGlass Ltd, a publicly listed semiconductor startup company, he had responsibility for all aspects of company operation and corporate governance. David is currently Director of Business Development for the UNSW Engineering Faculty and Chair of BT Imaging Pty Ltd.
