Dr Obada Kayali
Dr Obada Kayali has been working on creating high strength durable concrete using waste materials as main ingredients. He has registered several inventions using fly ash which is the waste from coal fired power industry, to manufacture high performance aggregates for concrete. He has also succeeded in manufacturing bricks and other building materials using fly ash as the main ingredient. His research is focused on creating durable and sustainable concrete construction by utilising waste products from the power and steel industries.
