Centre for Marine Bio-Innovation

Staffan is director of the Centre for Marine Bio-Innovation, which conducts basic and applied science in the area of bacterial biofilm and cell-cell signalling, chemically mediated bacterial eukaryote interactions, novel marine bioactives, environmental genomics, functional metagenomics and bioremediation. The CMB enjoys strong interest and links with universities, industry and scientific consortia internationally and nationally.
